Baby Chaos!!!!!!

Ummm yeah, that is the only word that I can think of at the moment is CHAOS! I have finally felt half way human again and have found a little time to be able to blog.....sorry :( We now have all 3 babies home! Braylea got to come home on July 20th. So far all 3 are doing good. We have been to see eye doctors, cardiologist & the pedi all in a matter of a week. Talk about CRAZY!! Luckily my mom and sister have been there to help. I just feel bad because my mother has to take off of work to go to appts with me, but she does it willingly and for that I am thankful. Once Braylea got home, I tried to stick to the schedule they were on in the NICU, but that flew out the window pretty quick because Braylea was on a totally different schedule as the other 2 since she was in the NICU 2 weeks longer. So in between cluster feeding and diaper changes every 3 hours, I have been making a mad dash to the bed in hopes of getting at least an hour of sleep at a time! It just makes it that much harder since I don't have any help during the week because the hubster and my mom have to work and other grandmother that doesn't work just doesn't show any interest in them. When I was pregnant with the triplets everyone was all about "We will be there to help you!!", but now that they are home no is around. So that sucks, but I am survivng! I have recently made a new found friend though! She is my saving grace! She has 1 year old triplet boys and and older boy to. We met through our pediatrician. She has been soooo awesome. Her and her mother-in-law have cooked meals to go in the freezer for us and she has donated soo much stuff to us. Not only that but she lends a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and offers advice when she can since she is in the same boat I am but with a years more experience than me. I can not express in words how much she has already done for us. Thanks, Mauri!
Bradyn, on the other hand, is slowly adjusting to having his sisters around. He loves to give them "kisses" all the time. But he is still starting to exhibit his "terrible 2" habits, and most recently he has shown us he has learned the art of throwing temper tantrums!
So that is just a quick note on my world, sooo much has gone on for me to remember and to post on here. Here is a slide show of all of my babies.

Until Next Time,

2 Months Old~~2 down, 1 to go!!

Well, once again, it's been a while since I posted!! Alot has happened. We now have 2 babies home and 1 still in the NICU. As much as I hated leaving Braylea by herself, we got to bring Addisyn (the first born) and Jayci (the smallest & last born) home on the 2nd of this month. Braylea had to stay in the NICU because she was still continuing to have bradycardic episodes when she was eating because she was still having trouble coordinating her suck, breath & swallow thing. So when Addisyn & Jayci were ready to go, the doc & I had a long discussion about whether to leave them there with Braylea or take them home. I decided to go ahead & bring them home because the doc said that Braylea could continue her episodes for a few days or a few weeks, it was up to her, and that he wouldn't send her home until she was episode free for a week. I didn't want to leave them there when there was no reason for them to be there and risk them catching another infection or having another setback. Soooo, they are home with Braylea hopefully to follow next week. Her last episode was on the 7th and she hasn't had any more since, so the countdown begins! It has been hard not getting to be up there with her as much as I would like. I get to go up there only once a day to see her and love on her. During the week my mom goes and feeds her as much as she can since she works at the hospital, so she is just around the corner from Braylea. The nurses tell me that they hold her and love on her all the time, so I know she will be spoiled when she gets home!! They say they feel sorry for her because you can tell she misses her sisters because she was always the one in the middle. I just hope she remembers who her mommy is :( .
Anyways, the first week home with 2- 2 month olds and a 19 month old has been quit interesting. Surprisingly the girls have not been that bad at all (yet). I have been keeping them on the same schedule where they eat every 3-4 hours etc. 30 minutes apart from each other and so far it has been working. We had our first pedi appt on Thursday & all went well. The doc was pleased that we didn't go home on any monitors or meds and that all we have to do is follow up with the eye doctor and the cardiologist. Otherwise, they are perfectly healthy and are continuing to grow like crazy! My 19 month old on the other hand has been quite a character since we got them home. He isn't bad with the girls, just with me & daddy. It is amazing how he has learned to tear the house apart even more than what he already does in just one week, and all the different ways he can get our attention (whether good or bad)! He has also learned what "time out" is to. It just kills me to discipline him because he just looks at you with his tear filled baby blue eyes and says "sowry".....ughhh that kills me every time! But hopefully he will start getting better. He likes to give his "sissies" kisses and give me their bottles when I am getting ready to feed them. He also runs to their room when he gets home from daycare to make sure they are still here.

Here are the statistics on the triplets for the 2 months:

Baby A~ Addisyn: Birth: 3 lbs 2.8 oz, 15 inches

2 months: 7 lbs 1.5 oz, 19 3/4 inches

Baby B~ Braylea: Birth: 3 lbs 4.5 oz, 15 3/4 inches

2 months: 6 lbs 11.4 oz, 19 1/2 inches

Baby C~ Jayci: Birth: 2 lbs 13.9 oz, 14 1/2 inches

2 months: 6 lbs 1 oz, 19 inches

And last but not least, here some pics to enjoy!

6 weekers!

Well the girls turned 6 weeks old yesterday. They are growing soo fast! They are all still in the NICU, but they are getting better everyday. They are all now co-bedding (all in the same crib) and they have been doing so since they turned 5 weeks old. Here is a pic of them on their first day back together right after we got them all setteled in. This is in reality set in for me....that I actually had 3 babies and now they are all together!! Yeah!

Now that they have been co-bedding, the girls seem to be doing alot better. They all have been waaay less tachypnic (breathing really fast) and they all have been eating better. It is funny because if you seperate them in the crib, they all fuss until you move them back close together. They have to almost be touching each other to be content. But anyways, they are all off of their IV's and taking any where from 1 1/2 ounces to 2 ounces each feeding. They still tire out sometimes and have to be fed through their feeding tube, but they bottle feed more than they tube feed so that is good and I breast feed each of them at least once a day for now. Braylea got started on Reglan because she has been refluxing which causes her heart rate to go down. Addisyn still has her oxygen but they are slowly weaning her off of it, but she is no longer on caffeine anymore. Braylea and Jayci are still on daily doses of caffeine but are off of the oxygen and have been for a while now and they are doing good. They all got eye exams last Saturday & today and so far their eyes look good, just haven't finished developing and they will get a recheck in 2 weeks. But, that is about the gist of it, the just have to continue to "feed & grow" and hopefully come home soon!! Here are the pics I took of their 6 weeks. They aren't to great, but better than nothing!

Ms. Addisyn before bath time- 5# 2.7 oz

Ms. Braylea looking for her grub-- 5#6.3 oz

Ms. Jayci all content with a full belly!-- 4# 6.4 oz

All my girls snuggled together!
On Thursday Justin went and picked Bradyn up from daycare and brought him up to the NICU, but since he isn't old enough to go in the NICU, the nurses let him look through the window at the girls. If looks could kill, I would have been dead! I was feeding Braylea when they showed up and I walked over to the window to show him & he did not like it one bit. He looked at his daddy & then would not look at me anymore! But, hopefully he will be different when they come home. Otherwise, he has been doing good, he baby talks up a storm and his favorite words have become "Pawpaw" (my dad) "Buckwheat" (one of my parent's miniature donkeys) and "STOP!" (he even has hand movements to this one!). He is quiet a character now days! One thing is for sure though, he will ALWAYS be "momma's boy"!
Until next time,

1 Month Ago......

...yesterday my life was forever changed again (The first time was when Bradyn was born). My 3 beautiful daughters were born. I can't believe it has already been a month. My how time flies! I guess all the trips to the NICU and taking care of Bradyn everyday keep me a little occupied! They have all already changed soooo much and their personalities are starting to grow more & more everyday. They amaze me on a daily basis. I took little headbands and put on them yesterday for their 1 month pictures since we aren't able to get "real pics" made yet. You can see the pictures to the right. So far the girls are staying on the right track and are doing better everyday (trying not to jinx myself or them!). Addisyn is now up to 15 cc every 3 hours on her feedings and is slowly requiring less oxygen, but she still needs the little boost, either that or she just likes the smell of the plastic, not sure which one yet because she goes up and down on her oxygen saturations. But, she is hanging in there. She also still has to stay under the warmer because she hasn't quit figured out how to hold her temp that good yet, she has almost got it down though. Yesterday she weighed 4#3oz. Braylea is now in a normal open crib all wrapped nice and neat and actually gets to where clothes now!! She loves being swaddled. She has been off her oxygen still and is doing great on that. I got to start bottle feeding her yesterday (YEAH!) and she took all of it but like 10cc. She bottle fed 2 times in a row today while I was there & did great. She is now eating 30cc (or 1 ounce) every 3 hours. As of yesterday she weighed 4# 6oz. Jayci got to start feedings again yesterday getting 1cc every 3 hours and got moved up to 2cc every 3 hours today. It is just enough to piss her off because she gets fussy & sucks on her pasi like a mad woman! But, the doc is going slow with her so she doesn't have the same problem she had a few weeks ago (losing all of her feedings and not getting to eat for 2 weeks). She is tolerating her 2 cc w/o any residuals so I am excited about that! She was put back on a little oxygen over the weekend because she wants to take off and start breathing real fast and it makes her oxygen saturation levels drop, but she is doing good, I just think she was starting to miss the smell of the plastic to since she was without it for a week or so. And she is also still hanging out under the warmer in her diaper since she still has a little trouble regulating her temp. Yesterday she weighed 3# 11 oz, so she has almost reached the 4 # mark!
So, that is my quick little update for now! Hopefully we continue to stay on the right track and get to come home soon!
Until next time,
Take Care!

Ups, Downs, & All Arounds......

That has been our ongoing NICU journey. All of the nurses and the Doc told us that being in the NICU is like the 2-Step, 2 steps forward & 1 step back or vise versa. The girls have been keeping me on my toes that is for sure!! They all have gone through several rounds of infections/blood & plasma transfusions/going on & off of antibiotics. So, here are the individual updates:

Addisyn: Lil Miss Addy had been doing good, she was up to about 22 cc every 3 hours on her feedings with me getting to breast feed her once a day. She was still on her oxygen and was requiring a little more than her sisters. We also found out she has a ventral septal defect in her heart, but fortunatley, as explained by the doctor, her defect is a muscular defect, so it will correct itself & grow together as she gets bigger, where as if it was a membranous defect then she would have had to have heart surgery, but fortunatley we do not have to have surgery. But, last Monday morning about 2 am I got a phone call from her nurse telling me she had been put back on the ventilator because she started having bradycardic (heart rate dropping low) & apnic (quit breathing) episodes & not recovering from them so therefore she was placed back on the vent. I guess she had to have attention just like her sister Braylea (more on her in a few). Anyways, after extensive blood work up etc., she had gotten yet another infection (pneumonia) & a blood infection and her little body was just worn out from trying to fight it off. Yesterday she was extubated and is now back on CPAP oxygen therapy & has been doing good so far. She has been a wild child ever since she got off the vent, she gets mad & starts pulling off all of her stuff & setting her alarms off, her daddy says she got my temper! She got to start her feedings back today @ 5 cc every 3 hours so hopefully that will help her calm down. I just think she is hungry because she sucks on her pasi like crazy and tries to "root" on to everything. Today she weighed 4#1 oz.

Addisyn yesterday after she got off of the ventilator before they put her oxygen on her.

One of the few times that she was content & asleep today!!

Braylea: Lil' Miss Braylea had been doing about the same as Addisyn. She was up to about 24cc every 3 hours on her feedings with me also getting to breast feed her once a day to. She had got completely off of her oxygen last Saturday and was doing good on room air then about 11 Sunday morning I got a phone call from the Doctor telling me he as about to put her back on the ventilator because she had been having bradycardic & apnic episodes all nite and was just wearing herself out. So after extensive work up etc., she also had pneumonia & a blood infection. They had also connected her to an EEG machine because the nurses thought she was posturing during the nite like she was having seizures, and the doc just wanted to make sure that she wasn't. Fortunatley, that came back negative, she didn't have a seizure one. Braylea stayed on the vent for less than 24 hours, she was extubated Monday morning and put back on CPAP oxygen therapy. This morning she was taken off of that and has been on room air and has been doing good holding her own. She also got her feedings started again and she is at 16 cc every 3 hours right now. So after blood/plasma tranfusions and aggressive antibiotic therapy Addisyn & Braylea are doing soooo much better despite their setback last week. Today she weighed 4# 3 oz.

Braylea off in "la la" land.

Oh so cute!! :)

Jayci: Lil Miss Jayci has been my less dramatic little one. About a week and half ago she was up to 16cc every 3 hrs. One nite I was feeding her through her gavage tube and she started spitting up and it was coming out through her nose and everything. She had also done that several times early that day too so the nurse called the doc and her feedings were stopped and they put down another tube to her stomach to keep her stomach sucked out. Then the next morning the doc did an abdominal x-ray and he thought she might had been trying to get necrotizing enterocolitis (a stomach infection that premie babies are prone to getting). After several days of repeated x-rays he was able to rule that out & decided that she just had a bunch of air in her tummy. So, he let her tummy rest for about a week then this past Tuesday he tried to start feeding her again at 1 cc every 3 hours but she was not tolerating that (the nurse was getting like 1/2 cc residuals every time she went to feed her) so he stopped her feedings again for a few days because he didn't want to push her and have what happend last time happen again. He said he will try to start feeding her again on Monday. Otherwise, she has been doing good, she has been off her oxygen for almost a week now & has been doing really good. Today she weighed 3# 10 oz today.

Me holding Jayci for the first time yesterday.

All nice & cozy today!

So that is basically it. Hopefully we are on the downslide to coming home (keep your fingers crossed!). We just have to work on holding temps, feeding/eating & growing! I am soo sorry that I have been terrible at keeping up with this, I will try to do better! I can't believe that they are 4 weeks old today! Time has flown by waaaay to fast!!

Until next time,

Take Care!!

Update on the girls.....

I know it has been a while since I have posted.....I have just been concentrating on getting over my C-Section, getting my house back in order & over course concentrating on my girls. They are all doing good despite their age, and the doctor is pleased with their progress so far. Each of them got started on daily caffeine doses to keep them stimulated on Thursday. So, here are updates on each on of them....
Addisyn: Lil Miss Addy got her chest tube out last Tuesday & has done great since then. She spent most of last week under phototherapy for her jaundice & she was taken off of the vent last Thursday and was placed on C-Pap oxygen, and she has basically been staying on room air (21% Oxygen) on that. But, Saturday the doctor did a lumbar puncture & ran some cultures & blood work on her (a septic workup is what they call it) because she was running high fevers & her lab work was beginning to get out of wack. So he started her on 2 different antibiotics right after all the test work was done and the results came back on Monday that she had a blood stream infection. She got plasma on Saturday & 2 blood transfusions on Sunday. Ever since then she has perked up a little more & she is getting fed 1cc of milk every 3 hours. As of Sunday she weighed 2# 12oz.

Addisyn the day after she got off of the vent (all cute with her little bow her nurses made her!)

Addisyn wide awake after mommy fed her today, sucking on her binky.

Braylea: Lil Miss Braylea also spent most of last week under phototherapy for her jaundice. She is my lazy one who who just lays around looking like she is having a day at the beach! She cracks me up! She was a day behind her sisters and got off of the vent on Friday because she didn't want to be as active as her sisters. But ever since then she has also been on C-Pap oxygen at 21%. She got a septic workup & started on antibiotics like Addisyn on Monday because she started having episodes of bradycardia (where her heartrate drops really low) & the doctor wanted to make sure it wasn't being caused by an infection. So far everything has been negative on her, but, she still keeps having the episodes of low heartrates where she will drop into the 40-50s (beats per minute) but she recovers with stimulation, so hopefully it is something she will just grow out of. Keep your fingers crossed!! She also is getting fed milk every 3 hours and they increase the amount by 1cc every 12 hours so she is up to 4cc every 3 hours right now. As of Sunday she weighed 2# 13.9 oz.

Lil Miss Braylea the day she got off of the vent with her bow her nurses made her.

She was having good dreams today...she didn't want to open her eyes for me!

Jayci: Lil Miss Jayci (aka my "Peanut") is surprisingly doing the best out of all 3 (seeing that she was the smallest at birth). She also spent most of last week under phototherapy. She was also taken off of the vent last Thursday with Addisyn. She has also been on C-Pap oxygen @ 21% & holding her own. Her IV antibiotics that all NICU babies get put on were stopped on Sunday, so she is not receiving any antibiotics. She is now in an isolette bed were they can start working on letting her control her temperature herself instead of being under the warmer, so hopefully I will get to hold her soon. Her nurses say that she is the feisty on out of them all, that she is a hell raiser at night!! She is also on feedings every 3 hours & getting increased 1cc every 12 hours like Braylea & she is now up to 7cc every 3 hours. She likes her groceries!! As of Sunday she weighed 2# 6oz.

Jayci the day after she got off of the vent also sportin her bow her nurses made her!

She was checking things out today after I got through gavage feeding her to.

And of course, my lil chunk Bradyn is still being his usual self. He is getting sooo big. His personality just keeps growing and amazing me! I can't wait until he gets to meet his sisters. We show him pictures everyday, but I know he is still to small to understand.

SO, if ya made it to the end, that is basically the stories to catch ya up! Sorry it took so long to post and sorry this post is so long!! But, I at least hope you enjoyed the pics!

Until next time,

Take Care!!

Mommy's Home!!

I got to come home for mother's day! Yeah! I had the option to stay in the hospital until Tuesday, but I figured it would be cheaper to recooperate in my own bed at home & with my lil' munchkin! I have been doing okay today, just reaaaaaly sore & tired. I think I over did it yesterday since I was still running off of adrenaline, and it all caught up with me today...ughhh. Luckily, I have the best mother ever! She took Bradyn home with her after she came to visit the girls, so the hubster could help me get home & to let me rest for a little while. And it helped alot. Muaaaah! Thank you mommy!
Otherwise, the only hard part about going home was leaving the girls behind. :( But, they are still hanging in there & doing great. All 3 of them are still on the vent, but are doing good, and all 3 of them got started on IV feedings last nite.
Addisyn still has her chest tube, but the doctor said her chest x-ray looked great so he left it in for today, they will clamp it off tomorrow & leave it clamped for 24 hours & if her chest x-ray continues to look good then they will take it out on Tuesday. The nurse's are keeping her pretty well sedated to keep her comfortable because she will start waking up & get pissed & start fighting the vent & coughing & gagging on the tube. So, she is still just hanging out, & they have her under a bili light to help keep her from getting so jaundiced. I don't have any current weights on her because they haven't been weighing her because they don't want to move her around & stimulate her to much with her chest tube still in place.
Braylea is just haning out holding her own. The doctor said that her chest x-ray & lung developement look great & she remains on low ventilator settings to, so maybe she will get to start coming off the vent soon. She is also hanging out under a bili light to help keep her jaundice down, but overall she looks good, & she is back up to her original birthweight today.
Jayci is also doing good holding her own. She got another dose of surfactant today for her lungs, but otherwise she has been doing good. The doctor said he was still pleased with her as well, he just wanted to give her another dose of surfactant because her lungs still looked a little immature on the chest x-ray, but she remains on low vent settings as well, and she is not trying to fight the vent as much so she is not requiring so much sedation. She hasn't had to have any bili light exposure yet so she is just hanging out in her own little world. Today she weighed 2 lbs 10.8 oz, so she is about 3 oz of being back up to her birthweight.
They are all scheduled for head & heart ultrasounds tomorrow, so we will see how they turn out. But, that is it for now! I will try to post updates everyday/nite so keep checking back!
Thank you all for all the support & prayers. It is really appreciated! Hope everyone had a great mother's day!
Until next time,
Take Care!!

What a week!! The girls have arrived!!

It has been a whirlwind of a week!! Well I went to the high risk perinatologist on Wednesday for my growth scan & all the girls were right at 3 lbs & some odd ounces each, except for Jayci, she was measuring 2 lbs 15 on sono. But what anatomy & so forth they could get all looked great. The poor sono tech had hell because all you could see was flying body parts because no one would stay still! It was so funny! Afterwards I went home because I had been having pressure & cramping again that would not go away no matter how I layed or sat. But, anyways went to my OB for my appt on Thursday 5-7-09. Well I told him about my other appt & all about my complaints & concerns etc. Well he checked me & I was already dilated to 4-5 cm, 50% thinned out & Addisyn's head was already engaged in my pelvis at -2 station (if that makes sense to any of you). So, a looong discussion ensued between him, me & my husband. Basically said he could put me in the hospital on strict bed rest, but I would just continue to dilate because there wasn't much that they could do to stop my progression because of my other health problems prevented me from having the meds & that he didn't want to be caught in the predicament of having me go into full blown labor & deliver Baby A vaginal & then having to pull B & C out by their heels because they had turned breeched again according to the sono or worse yet, scrambling for an emergency C-Section after delivering Baby A (confusing I know). So, he (we) decided to go ahead & schedule the C-section for Friday 5/8/09 @ 0730 that way all of our "ducks" were in a row & everyone at the hospital was prepared & so forth. So, needless to say we went on Friday morning @ 5am for our scheduled C-Section @7:30 am. I was nervous, scared, anxious, happy and much more. I was 30 weeks yesterday. I was disappointed in myself since I didn't make it to 32 weeks, but I made it further than every thought I would. So, needless to say, the girls are here. They all came out exercising their lungs, but after a little bit in the NICU they started having increased difficulty breathing & wasn't tolerating the C-Pap machines, all 3 of them were intubated & given surfactant. As of today they are still intubated & on the vent, but they are on very low settings, with the exception of Addisyn. Early this morning the NICU Dr. came in my room to let me know that the vent had blown a hole in Addisyn's lung so he had to insert a chest tube to let all the air out of her chest cavity so her lung could re-expand. She still has the chest tube, but hopefully it will be removed tomorrow then hopefully on Monday they will start pulling all 3 off of sedation & start weaning them off of the vent. Otherwise they are holding their own, haven't had to have a whole lot of sedation & got started on IV feedings tonite. Here are pics of them and all their info. Hope all is doing well, and I will post again when I can! ( I only got to post this long tonite because the hubby brought me the laptop up to the hospital & he went home so the munchkin could sleep in his own bed tonite, so I am all alone :(, but I get to go home in the morning!)

Babyshower love!

This past Saturday was my baby shower & it was a blast. I was 29 weeks, 1 day & I was afraid that I wasn't going to make it, but the girls have been on their best behavior, so I was able to go. It was a good turn out despite some family drama that caused some people not to show up. I was a little sad because none of my family showed up except for my mom (of course), my sister, my grandmother, aunt & cousin. The majority of people that were there were from my husband's side. And to think the drama was all over a freggin corsage, some one got their feelings hurt because someone else wasn't getting a corsage. I guess I was more hurt than anything that something so petty could get in the way of family being together, but like my mom said, the ones that mattered & wanted to be/could be there were there. My wonderful hostesses (some people from work & my wonderful sister, not to mention my mom's hard work to) did an awesome job with everything from getting it together, down to the decorations. I appreciate everyone that showed up, and for all the gifts & DIAPERS!! Yeah, the top of the girls' closet is FULL of diapers. But, here are a few pics from the shower. I will post again on Friday after all of my appointments this week!

Until next time,

Take Care!!!

Still hangin' in there!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we are still hanging in there!! Went to my OB last Thursday & everything was still the same, no more dilating (still at a 1-2 cm) or severe cramping, blood pressure was perfect, I still have only gained 5 lbs total & my 1-hr glucose test was perfect (so no diabetes!). I have been really trying hard to lay around alot more, & my parents, Justin's parents, & my wonderful sister are all AWESOME for all the help they are giving, and of course my wonderful hubby for putting up with me because I know I have not been to nice these past couple of weeks. It is just so hard for me to be dependable on people because I am so independent & like to do things myself that way I don't feel obliged to owe anybody anything. I was 28 weeks on Friday so we hit our first major mile stone!! YEAH!! So nothing exciting going on this week, except that I am having my baby shower on Saturday. I am waaaaay excited!! Then next week I go back & see my OB & the high risk doc (where we will get another growth sono to see how the babies are growing). So that is basically it for now. I will post sometime next week after all my appointments.......
Until next time,
Take Care!!!

27 weeks, barely hangin' & scared.......

I have never been so miserable in my life (so far!). A whole lot, yet a whole lot of nothing has gone on since my last blog. I seen my OB on the 9th of this month & he said my cervix had dropped and was softer than at my last visit & that Baby A (Addisyn) was hanging out pretty low. YIKES! So he said I need to stay laying down as much as possible.....does he know how impossible that is???? So, I arranged for someone to take my son to daycare & to pick him up so that was less getting out that I would have to do. The past couple of days & have been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions & pressure & spams down below, soooo I called him today & he had me come in so he could check me. Well, he said that my cervix had thinned even more & I was dilated to 1cm, close to a 2 & that he could feel the top of Addisyn's head, but they all looked good when he did a spot check with the sono machine. So, he called my high risk perinatologist & I got a shot of betamethasone (steroid) & I go back on Monday for another one. Then I have my regular scheduled check up on Thursday. I am just a little freaked out since I am only 27 weeks today. So, I am basically on full bedrest until the girls arrive. It is just sooooo umcomfortable no matter what I do. I flop from side to side (like a beached whale! HA! HA!), have tons of pillows around me & nothing helps, plus I am being kicked from all different directions because the girls don't like me laying on my sides. I feel so guilty though because I am being selfish & I want them out because I am so miserable, but I want them to stay in as long as possible because they need to. Is that wrong of me to feel that way?? Sooo, all I can do is hurry up & wait & pray that everything goes well. I have been bad about keeping up with weekly pictures & I am not a big fan of "naked belly" pics since I am fat to begin with, but here are the most recent ones that I have taken.
26 weeks 3 days

27 weeks (not that good of a pic)
You will have to excuse the lovely "lingerie" attire! LOL! But it is the only thing that I seem to be comfortable in now days.
But, on a lighter note, last weekend was Easter & it was Bradyn's first year to hunt Easter eggs. He was soo cute & it didn't take him long to get the hang of it. After all the eggs were hunted, all he wanted to do was sit down & play with his eggs. He is so easily entertained!

Bradyn & his daddy hanging out

He found one!!

Checking out his goods......
Well, that is it for now! Back to bed to gestate!
Until next time,

Long Time, No Post

Okay so it has been a while since I posted, but honestly, I haven't had anything really to post...that is..... Until today! We are 25 weeks today, we reached viability! YEAH!!! I went to my high risk doctor yesterday & everything looked good. I was 24 w 6 d yesterday & my sono tech was able to get all the anatomy on all 3 babies one way or the other! They all looked good & are growing according to my dates. All 3 babies are still girls & we have names picked out for them.....sooooooooo here are a few sono pics with their stats from yesterday......

"Baby A": Addisyn Sue
Weight: 1lb. 10 oz
Measuring @ 25w 3d
She had her arm bent with her hand up by her ear. It was hard to get good pics of her because she was on the very bottom & was being "shadowed" by her sisters. :( So this is the only good shot we got of her.

"Baby B": Braylea Ann
Weight: 1 lb 12 oz
Measuring: 24w 6d

Just a profile pic of her, she didn't want to stay still for nothing!

"Baby C": Jayci Nicole

Weight: 1 lb 12 oz

Measuring: 25w 1d

She was sucking her thumb in this pic.....so cute!

I also thought this picture was neat, she was able to get all 3 of the tops of their heads in one shot since they are all head down for the moment. (No wonder my hips are killing me!!) And she is also an artist! HA! HA! She drew me a little diagram to show how they were laying, so I thought I would share it to.....

Of course I am still seeing my regular OB every 2 weeks & everything is holding up as it should. I still have only gained 4 lbs throughout the whole pregnancy, all baby of course. I go back & see him next Thursday. Otherwise we have been working on the girls' nursery & getting their room ready (or should I say that I have been staying on top of the hubster to get it done!). It looks funny with 3 cribs in there! Bradyn walked in there the other day and came out of the room looking at me and pointing towards the beds with a question look on his face saying "Wook! Wook! (Look, Look)" like he was trying to say, "What is going on here!!". Of course I have to include a picture of my lil man, he was trying to help his poppi & his daddy put up wall border in the girls room over this past weekend by carrying around his poppi's toolbox......he is growing up so fast!!

But, that is about it for now. I am just continuing to sit around & "gestate" (as my mom puts it!) and keep these babies as long as possible!
Until next time,
Take Care!!
